I see this more often than I would like to admit. Lately when I am in the market for a product I reach out to a company and I either don't get called back or they send out an unprepared unprofessional salesperson.

I understand finding great people is hard but who said having a business would be easy? If you're spending advertising and marketing dollars you want the maximum impact.

I am in the market for a new pool cage. I have reached out to six different companies, only two responded. One was a no-show and the other basically told me their company was great, his cage would last me a lifetime ( I am 58 and only intend to stay about 5 years). He told me he could get his measuring tape if I really wanted him to but just looking at things it would be 50 or 60K. My neighbor just replaced their enclosure for 20-25k. Clearly, I told him he did not need to get his measuring tape. That must have been a relief for him.
