Many of us don't realize it, buy we change the way TV, Video, Sports, and Movies are delivered to households.
We may not have seen a reason to change and if it were not for the pandemic we likely would not have shifted so quickly. Covid compressed time and made the growth of streaming possible
The pandemic changed many things. It changed the way we communicated with friends, family, and grandchildren. It changed the way we went to work. Many of us went to full-time work from home, others had hybrid schedules, business meetings were conducted through zoom. this quick shift transcended generations.
It changed the way we consume media. With nothing better to do during the height of COVID lockdowns, we turned to #Streaming . Possibly watch programs we typically wouldn't have. You can bet this new way of viewing became a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Broadcasters were quick to shift from the local affiliate model to a streaming-first mentality. That means they purchased early streaming platforms like Pluto (CBS), Tubi (FOX) Xumo (NBC). They also develop things like Hulu, Paramount+, Disney+, Peacock… Device makers made devices easier to use. Movie and content producers created more content and made it available directly to streaming.
Sooner than later most video will be streamed. #CTV #Streaming #OTT always getting better for viewers and local advertisers
